There are not too many facilities for bicycles on the last few states I visited but some obstacles. One of them that causes to me a lot of annoyance is deliberately uneven shoulder. It is done to alert falling asleep or absentminded motorist that they are going out the road and it is very useful. However, this work is done in my country on the side painted line only, leaving even the shoulder, while in those Southern States many times it takes the whole shoulder or the most of it.

It makes the shoulder useless for bicycles and make me to ride the on the main line jeopardizing myself and causing obstruction for vehicles coming behind me which sometimes blow the horn. I feel I have the same right than they to be on the road but I suppose they disagree with me. Anyway it is a danger that could be easily avoid by the road constructors.
