1. This country is very expensive.
2.- The American currency has little value.
Only that can explain that the four tomatoes I have in my hand cost four dollars. They are neither great nor tasty nor an exceptional price.
At some point I got the idea that this country was cheap but I was completely wrong. At first I thought it was just New York, that big cities are always expensive. The trip takes place, but the prices remain. For further disassistance the products are tagged without adding the taxes, no matter how much you buy a bike, a T-shirt or a can of coke tail. When you get to the box you add the corresponding percentage, which is particularly annoying if you have already made the account mentally and you carry the coins prepared.
Another particularity of this monetary system is that the smallest ticket is one dollar (0.75€) and the largest currency is a quarter of dollars (0.20€) so that the vending machines of drinks or anything else work with banknotes and the machines that do not accept tickets (those of the laundries for example) need a loot of coins to put them into operation.
The green ticket met better times.
